Sewer Drain Clearing & Cleaning
Is your home or business draining very slowly, not at all, or even backing up?
There may be a blockage in the system that’s restricting flow through the waterways. One option to remedy this is to use a sewer machine to push metal cables through the pipes. This is called “snaking” in plumbing terms and will dislodge obstructions and push them downstream towards the city sewer or septic tank.
Another option that may be appropriate is to jet-wash the system. This is more aggressive than snaking and involves cleaning the pipes using high-pressured water. A flexible hose with a nozzle that sprays 360 degrees of water is inserted and pulled through the pipes to remove rust, grease, sludge, debris and other residue that has built-up over the years.
Warning!
While we don’t want to scare you, it’s important to understand that needing these services may be an indicator of something more serious. You shouldn’t be in regular need of snaking or jet-washing. At some point, you may want to consider a drain camera inspection to investigate a little further. But don’t worry, you’re in good hands with Arko! We’ll figure it out and point you in the right direction!
