Water Heaters
Water Heater Maintenance
To maintain your tank water heater and maximize its life expectancy, flushing it out once a year is highly recommended. This is because minerals and sediments buildup in the tank which can hinder the ability to heat water and even erode the tank itself.
For tankless water heaters, flushing it out is also recommended but for a different reason. Calcium and tiny debris deposits buildup inside the small pipes in the water heater. Flushing out these pipes with white vinegar or specialized solutions will clean them for optimum life expectancy.
If it’s been a while since your last flush out, or you’ve never had one before, don’t hesitate to call us to service it.
